Vestas Secures 124 MW Order for Lithuanian Wind Energy Project

Vestas, a leading global partner in sustainable energy solutions, has announced the receipt of a 124 MW order for a wind energy project in Telsiai, Lithuania . The project, awarded by Utilitas Wind and Latvenergo AS, involves the delivery of 20 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines, including supply, delivery, and commissioning.

Vestas will also provide service and maintenance for the turbines throughout their life cycle under an Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement

This marks the third collaborative project between Vestas and Utilitas Wind across the Baltic states, with Vestas EnVentus platform supporting energy independence in the region .

The project is expected to contribute significantly to the region’s renewable energy capacity, with construction already underway and electricity production slated for the first quarter of 2026 . Turbine delivery and commissioning are anticipated for early 2026.
