The achievement was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Global Port Services and Global Energy Services, who provided essential onsite services, including craneage, logistics, equipment mounting, and inspection and repair.

The Port of Nigg is now gearing up for the next phase of the project, with Siemens Gamesa operating from the South Quay to preassemble and marshal wind turbine components. The components, including tower sections, nacelles, and blades, are being stored on site, awaiting installation by Cadeler’s Wind Orca jack-up vessel.

The successful completion of the first phase is a testament to the efficiency and safety of the operations at the Port of Nigg. The teams involved have demonstrated exceptional collaboration and expertise, paving the way for the continued success of this groundbreaking project.
