The partnership aims to support Norway’s goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and promote growth in the offshore wind industry. Corio and Å Energi are already partners in the Nordvegen Vind consortium, pursuing the Utsira Nord offshore wind project in Norway.

“We have a highly positive relationship with Å Energi, and I am delighted to broaden and deepen that relationship with this new agreement,” said Jonathan Cole, CEO of Corio Generation.
“We complement each other well, and strong partnerships are crucial for Å Energi to deliver on our ambitious growth strategy,” said Steffen Syvertsen, CEO of Å Energi.

Å Energi is Norway’s biggest energy utility company, operating in the entire value chain from generation to end users. The company focuses on increasing clean, affordable renewable energy production and has projects in various fields, including battery technology, hydropower, hydrogen, solar power, offshore wind, and digitalisation.
