Titan Wind Energy Invests EUR 300 Million in Monopile Production Plant in Cuxhaven, Germany

June 25, 2024  –Titan Wind Energy has announced a substantial investment of up to EUR 300 million in a state-of-the-art monopile production facility in Cuxhaven, Northern Germany . This strategic decision aligns with the company’s long-term goals and commitment to achieving global net-zero targets


The new facility is expected to commence production in 2025, manufacturing monopiles with impressive dimensions – up to 14 meters in diameter, 140 meters in length, and weighing 3,500 tons. This investment will create over 600 jobs and establish Titan Wind Energy GmbH as a key supplier to offshore wind markets in the North Sea, Baltic Sea, and the USA, with an annual production capacity exceeding 500,000 tons .

Stefan Wenzel, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, hailed the investment decision as crucial for augmenting production capacities in Germany and Europe.

Olaf Lies, Lower Saxony’s Minister of Economic Affairs, emphasized the importance of this project in driving the energy transition and creating new job opportunities. Uwe Santjer, Lord Mayor of Cuxhaven, welcomed the investment, anticipating strengthened international collaboration and synergy effects that will solidify Cuxhaven’s position as a European offshore hub
